What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

not going to lie here, i’m in the middle of so many books. i’m mainly focusing on reading nevernight and a torch against the night this week/month.

i haven’t read much of a torch against the night yet, but from what i’ve heard this book is better than an ember in the ashes, so i can’t wait to get into it.

i started nevernight so long ago, but i stopped when i moved house and a bunch of other stuff happened. i’m hoping to finish this soon as i’m already half way through. the writing style makes this book really hard to get through but i am enjoying the overall plot.

so i recently finished reading conquests by emily murdoch for a blog tour that she’s hosting for the 950 anniversary of the battle of hastings. the book is a standard forced marriage trope but i really loved the historical accuracy and the easy flow in the writing. if you want a quick historical romance to read, i definitely recommend checking out this book!

prior to finishing this book, i read an ember in the ashes (review can be found here). i really enjoyed this book – which was a surprise considering the slump in currently in – but i’m glad it was a good read.

honestly, i’m just taking it one book at a time right now, but i think i’ll try read the thousandth floor next as it’s book of the month for a local book club that i wish to join in. i’ve heard mixed things about this book, but i love gossip girl so i hope i enjoy this too. (i also think i need a contemporary to break this slump)

at some point (probably at the same time, we all know i can’t read one book at a time), i would love to start we awaken, by calista lynne, as it looks like a very good read.
